2017-18 NBA Season

Even though the Knicks lost tonight, McDermott was 3 for 4 from three point land, which makes him a 46.9% three point shooter (15 for 32) on the year. The Knicks should use McDermott in the same capacity as the Clippers used JJ Redick from 2014 to 2017 - that is, have McDermott average more than 5 (or 6) three point attempts per game. McDermott is currently averaging 3 three ball attempts per game this season. After tonight's performance it's clear McDermott is the Knicks' best shooter from behind the arc.

Lonzo Ball is looking like a huge bust so far. He's shooting 29% from the field and 22% from 3 while averaging 12 fg attempts and five 3 point attempts a game. He's also playing 33 minutes a game. That's a lot of shots and a lot of playing time for a rookie so it's not like you can blame his poor offense on a lack of rhythm. I remember watching him in college and noticing he had a very unorthodox shooting motion and I knew he would have a lot of trouble getting his shot off at the next level. Ironically he's not very athletic either. Maybe it's because of all of that White DNA he has in him right LaVar? Lonzo seems like a good kid but his father is so obnoxious that it's hard not to take a little joy in seeing his oldest son fail.

The much hyped OKC Thunder dropped to 4-7 with a loss against the Jokic led Denver Nuggets last night. Jokic had 15 and 11 in 27 minutes (why's he only playing 27 minutes when Millsap played 40?). The Thunder are now 0-6 against Western conference opponents. Before the start of the season this team was expected to be a serious challenger to the Golden State Warriors. Now who knows if they'll even make the playoffs. But how could this be? The Thunder got rid of a lot of their White players and black role players and replaced them with super affletic stars like Carmelo Anthony and Paul George. We were told all along last season that Russell Westbrick was single handedly carrying a trash roster to the playoffs by averaging a triple double.

So shouldn't the team have gotten much better? "Surprisingly" the team is much worse now. The reason for that is because Westbrick was the most overrated player in the NBA last season. His triple double average was nothing more than a season long display of TNB. He played extremely dumb and selfish basketball in order to artificially average a triple double. His talented teammates propped him up by sacrificing their own individual stats and his beta coach let him get away with disgracing the game and playing losing basketball. Now we're seeing all of his former teammates like Sabonis, McDermott, Oladipo, and Kanter flourish on their new teams. His new affletic teammates are selfish ******** just like him so don't count on them sacrificing anything for the good of the team.

Tonight there were so many bright spots that it's hard to keep track of all of them.

Knicks win over SAC 118-91 with the caste busters scoring the majority of the Knicks' points with 61. Porzingis with 34, Kanter 17, McDermott 8, Hermangomez 2. The caste busters played a total of 90 minutes (3/8th of all minutes).

Kevin Love was once again the leading scorer in Cleveland's win with 29 while Kyle Korver scored 13 points. On the losing side Dirk had 14 and Barea had 9 for Dallas.

Pau Gasol had 21 and Bertans had 16 for the Spurs in their win over the Bulls - the Spurs are now 8-5. Bertans was 5 of 6 from three point land and Gasol was 3 of 3 from behind the arc - this is the fifth season in a row that Gasol has shot a significant amount of three pointers.

Dellavedova had 10 points off the bench in Milwaukee's win over the Lakers. Delli was 2 of 4 from three point land.

And even though the 76ers lost, JJ Redick was the leading scorer for Philly with 17.

It is shaping up to be a great year in the NBA.

Never heard of this guy, but Hawks’ rookie Tyler Cavanaugh with 16 points 6 rebounds in 18 minutes on 6/7 shooting. Apparently he’s an undrafted 6’9” power forward out of George Washington.

K. Porzingis 2nd in the NBA in scoring. This is despite playing less minutes than all the other superstars! He only averages 32.5 minutes a game. Way to go K.P.

Look at all of the european names. Nowitzki is the guy they talk about the most but he was just the start of a tidal
wave of european players coming into the nba. I hope this trend continues along with more american born whites
being added to the mix!

76ers start 3 Whites...

Dirk had his highest scoring game of the season last night, 19 points. He is playing center now. The Mavs have won a few games in a row. Really hope he sticks around long enough to catch Chamberlain and move to No. 5 on the all time scoring list. He needs about 1,000 points to do it.

Trailblazers have given Pat Connaughton a couple of starts as part of a 3 guard lineup. He responded last night with 12 points on 4-7 shooting in 37 minutes.

Yes, and one of the first times Saric and Redick both started. Saric was replacing Redick, but look what happened when both were on the court along with McConnell. A 130-111 win!

Right icsept. My mistake. He has started 13 of 18 games this season. I was watching a few games this year where he did not start. He only started 36 games of 81 last season.

I noticed a headline in the local rag about the Grizzlies firing their coach, with a big picture of him above the headline. Memphis lost 8 games in a row before David Fizdale was fired. Fizdale had benched Marc Gasol for the entire 4th quarter in the latest loss and was canned the next day. Gasol to his credit didn't try to hide his anger about being benched. The AP article about Fizdale's firing claims "the move caught the NBA by surprise," then cites Dwyane Wade and LeBron James as being upset by it. Apparently Wade and James comprise "the NBA," much as the media likes to throw around the term "world opinion" when denouncing some foreign leader who has displeased Washington, D.C.

James tweeted, "I need some answers. Feels like my man was a fall guy." Is this a serious demand? It likely is, given that James is the NBA. I guess "King LeBron" hasn't yet realized that White head coaches are routinely made the fall guy for the failures of their players; in fact it's very rare when they aren't. Maybe the members of that oh-so racially sensitive magical race consider the move "racist" because a black coach was fired after benching a White star.

Lebitch James going full Al Sharpton on us lately! These young black players and "rappers " don't even try to hide their disdain for white people anymore. Glad Fizdale was canned. So disrespectful to do to an established star like Marc Gasol. Plus he clearly didn't have what it takes to lead Memphis anywhere.

Not even going to link it but now Kevin Durant is bitching about what he falsely perceives as"racial " stuff in America. I am still bewildered by the fact the NBA is still doing OK and hope sooner rather than later a backlash occurs and things start to go south. I find the NBA for the most part just as dreadful as the NFL and watching a game is a full time chore. Listening to so many black athletes bitch and whine and aim their darts at white folk is getting old real fast. I would like to wake up one day and hear that both leagues are on the verge of collapse due to fan disinterest and disgust.

Wow! After scoring only 13 points last night Cleveland's Kevin Love scores 38 and has 9 boards as the Cavaliers are scorching Miami 106-85. Looks like a season low for Dragic, 7 points. Korver 11 points for Cleveland.

UGHH! Porzingis, 25.8 pts./game, suffers a sprained ankle in the third minute of the Knicks game last night. He's been called the Lizard because he heals so quickly. So, hopefully it's not serious. The Knicks don't play again until Sunday. Enes Kanter came up big for the Knicks with 22 points and 14 boards. McDermott had 12 points.
