Just imagine the uproar if that was said about a black rookie quarterback. They don't want a white qb who can run the ball.

Johnny threw a good back shoulder pass but his WR ran the wrong route. The commentators shrieked with glee, and said see, he cant make even the simple throws. THen on 3rd, and 9 Johnny scrambled for 8 yards, coming up a yard short. The commentators shrieked with joy, and said "your not very fast in the NFL are ya Johhny boy?"

I go over to PFT and the main headline reads "JIMMY CLAUSEN UNIMPRESSIVE EARLY IN CHICAGO". So I figure maybe he's thrown a couple of bad interceptions to start the game, but I look at the box score and he had only thrown the ball 5 times and completed 3 of those passes. The media is just relentless with their hate.

And on the topic of Manziel I'm sorry but I don't share the optimism of the rest of the posters here. Just like Tebow he won't be allowed to succeed in the NFL. I knew it immediately after watching the first quarter of last week's games and seeing the ultra conservative Tim Tebow offense play calling. Kyle Shanahan is the OC, he's the same guy who called the plays for Robert Griffin in 2012, so why all of a sudden would he dramatically change his play calling even though he's got another very athletic quarterback ? Shanahan probably knows he's got no future in the NFL if he turns Manziel into a superstar.

Some people think Manziel won't suffer the same fate because he's a better pocket passer but I disagree because even Tim Tebow could have been a pocket passer if he were allowed to play in a normal offense. How many quarterbacks in this league would be successful if they were always forced to throw on third and long ? Not many. Back when McDaniels was coaching the Broncos during Tebow's rookie season he started 2 or 3 games and he played well for a rookie, even throwing for 300 yards in one of those games, because he wasn't playing in an offense specifically designed to limit his success.

To make matters worse for Manziel, the DWF all hate his guts. He's easily the most hated player in the NFL. I saw a poll last week conducted by a large Cleveland newspaper and the majority of respondents said that Manziel is not the future quarterback of the Browns. This is exactly the reason why ESPN worked so hard the past couple of years tarnishing Manziel's image and it worked perfectly.

My goodness this is just as bad, if not worse that Tebow. They were showing the playoff picture, and the Browns are still mathematically in it. THe talking heads said "the Browns really shouldnt really be on this list because with Manziel at QB they are gonna need miracle, after miracle, after miracle".

See that's all they have to do; just keep saying "Manziel sucks ,Manziel can't play ,Manziel is garbage, etc" and people start to believe it. Everyone here has heard the saying before that if you repeat a lie enough times it becomes the truth.

It worked so well with Tebow even respected CFers were eventually saying Tebow couldnt make the throws to be an NFL QB. It amazing how powerful propaganda is. Even those of us who KNOW better are susceptible to buying into it.

Yeah unfortunately it's true, even the best of us give in to our human nature. It's our primitive instinct to want to listen to and believe our tribal leaders, and the media and all the talking heads; those are our leaders today (even though they're also our enemies). I'll admit sometimes it even feels good when I know I'm in agreement with the Jewish media.

I was wondering why Hoyer was in the game. But I guess you're right he's done for. It's not like it would have mattered though, he would have had a poor statistical performance these next two games and this his career would have been over after that.

Newton, and Bridgewater are getting praised by the heads as if they are absolutely perfect. These last few years the falseness of the NFL has become so blatant, and in our faces that I cant believe any thinking person actually believes its legitimate in the slightest way.

Anyone know what's going on with Greg Olsen today? No catches or targets at half. He's only 40 yards from 1,000.

Edelman won't be hitting his milestone today, so hopefully "Superman Cam" can at least get Olsen over the mark today.

Nelson with 70 yards at half against the Bucs.

As the play developed, I yelled to my wife and I quote, "What are they doing! That is the dumbest play in NFL history!" Then a minute later I realized he was injured. I don't know if I have seen a called play where a QB sprints, with no play fake, to the outside. All that talk about trying to develop his play in the pocket and it just looks like his own coaches set him up.

And for the second week in a row the Cleveland defense looked like they were trying to get extra reps in by allowing long drive after long drive. And for the second week in a row the Cleveland offense seemed to have the opponents calling their plays. What a sucky year!

Adam Archuleta on sCam Newton INT: 'That was a terrible decision, a very manziel-esque play.'
So now Manziel who only has thrown 2 ints is the image for bad interceptions?

I guess the network also took away this weakling's testicles.

Don't blame Adam he's just trying to make Mr. Goldstein happy.

Take notice of Brown's defender Scott Solomon. He is making plays all over the field. He just dropped the Panther's rb for a huge loss on 3rd down to force a punt.

Johnny Football sucks as an NFL QB. He was nothing more than a system QB in college. Remember Kenny "Trill" breaking his record in like his second start? He is exactly as talentless and a beneficiary of a system as RG screen ( maybe even worse).

On top of that he is a grade A Wigger, a gypsie looking sociopath. The media hypes up these clowns all the time, if he didn't suck so bad they would probably be rooting for him.

It's a win-win for the MSM it falsely shows mobile white QB' s to be busts while promoting a lack of morals and values in young whites.

It's cheap to kick a man when he's down, but I hated this guy from day 1. His build is a complete joke to be playing this game, there's no way they don't break this chump in two. Surely all his rap buddies can come leach off of him while he has a "Tommy Boy" career in east texas. They can bring more diversity to the area and create future half breed football players to rural America.

In Minnesota, Matt Asiata is getting the bulk of the carries at RB and has received nothing but praise from the media in his performance this year. He is averaging 3.3 yards per carry this year - the same as Toby Gerhart this year.

Jordy now with a bakers dozen.

You're the delusional one for thinking Manziel doesn't suck. The fact that a 75 IQ fellow midget can come in after Johnny and duplicate his stats proves my point. Don't hate me for the fact you bought into his hype, the game was setup for failure from the beginning.
