Let's get this started. Not much to look forward tonight, hopefully Boise State pulls and upset. Both A&M and SC are rancid teams, Manziel was the only thing that made A&M worth watching.

I am hopeful that Dylan Thompson has a big year in the sec. A&m screwed over Kyle Allen so I hope they lose and perform terribly on offense.

hopefully Boise state can beat the loathesome new miss team.

Oklahoma st vs free shoes university will be an intriguing matchup. I'm hoping for an upset and a down year for that Baffoon jameis (seriously wtf kind of name is that)

Kenny Hill = Geno Smith 2.0

I haven't seen him throw a ball more than 9 yards in distance all game long. And most of them are right at the line of scrimmage or less.

It's a shame Spurrier felt the need to have a "diversity approved" defensive coordinator. South Carolina is one of the least prepared teams I've ever seen on defense in this game. It's not like TAMU is running something different from last year. Yet the Gamecòcks haven't even breathed on either this freshman quarterback or any of the receivers. A truly pitiful performance.

But those vaunted coal black SEC defenses are the feeder system to the nfl :p

It's ridiculous.

Where was the supposed speed & athleticism on defense for South Carolina?? It must have been on vacation giving up 52 points & 511 yards passing....and just think there was NOT ONE single White player on that Defense for the dwf's to blame!

At least A&M started a couple of whites on defense...

Boise St. needs to put future NFL Talent WR Matt Miller on display...the new QB Hedrick is gutsy but has to get the ball to Miller deep when he's one on one like that!

Yeah I could hardly believe my eyes...#23 LB- Taylor Polk a redshirt freshman; of course joined as a non-scholarship player last season...he has a nose for the ball in the middle of the action on several key plays...he keeps playing like that they better offer him a scholarship!

#47 DE-Youngblood was playing quite a bit in the 1st half too

Saint Saban the caste whore has named a mediocre black read option qb starter. So now the number 1 qb recruit from last year Kyle Allen and the top transfer qb Coker have both been ****ed over.

Well, Max DeLorenzo just fumbled on UConn's very first offensive play. That's probably a quick trip to the bench for the rest of the year.

On a side note, Taysom Hill to Mitch Mathews is very fun to watch for BYU so far!!

Yeah definitely not the way max wanted to start the year. WR Jurgens has looked good as well. Taysom Hill proving to be one of the best dual threats in country.

S Craig Bills with int as well. And wow this referee crew absolutely sucks! Calling petty penalties all night, double digit flag numbers not even half yet.

Taysom Hill appears to have taken a huge step in his development. He looks very sudden and athletic as usual but has been keeping his focus downfield making some great passes rather than taking off and running with it.

Watching Arizona play... they've got a TON of white defenders out there!! They have 4 starters, with 2 more listed as co-starters, in addition, they also have 3 other backups on the two deep that get time from the looks of it! That's 9 white players potentially getting time on a Pac-12 defense!! It's a shame the offense is pretty black though, with only 3 white starters.

a couple of quick notes …

i didn't catch the starting lineup tonight, but Skye Povey played an awful lot at boundary cornerback for BYU and looked good out there. the Cougars had at least 3 White defensive backs on the field the entire time i was watching: the aforementioned Povey, Craig Bills (who looked like an All-American), and sophomore safety/cornerback Dallin Leavitt (who made several plays and a couple of mistakes).

as i mentioned before the season started, wideout Mitch Mathews was a BIG part of the passing attack. this kid should turn into an elite player.

********************

in the first collegiate football game of the season, Eastern Washington (#2 in the FCS) started two White wideouts (perhaps the best wideout in the country Cooper Kupp and Cory Mitchell), a White tight end (Zach Wimberly), and 3 White defensive backs: safeties Todd Raynes and Jordan Tonani and freshman cornerback Jake Hoffman. Hoffman was only thrown at twice during the large chunk of the game i watched, both for incompletions. he did an outstanding job.

********************

Abilene Christian University has two unheralded (no surprise there) White wideouts with terrific speed. junior Cade Stone is incredibly explosive yet hardly ever is allowed to touch the ball. you'd think they'd want to get it in his hands, considering he has run a 10.54 100-meters … and considering his playmaking ability with the football: he only returned two kickoffs as a freshman, but took one of them back for a 92-yard touchdown. his career per-touch average is stellar, yet he has very few touches. "weird," huh?

teammate Jace Hudson is 6-foot-4 and has a personal-best of 21.6 in the 200-meters … yet he also has been vastly under-utilized (not to mention under-recruited).

perhaps this is the year that they break out, as both scored touchdowns in ACU's season-opening 37-38 loss to Georgia State.

*******************

Colorado "possession" receiver Nelson Spruce has already snagged a 54-yard touchdown catch-and-run. not too bad for an "overachiever."

edited to add: midway through the 3rd quarter, Spruce now has 2 touchdown catches on the night. he currently has 4 catches for 68 yards and 2 scores. he must be running some hella good precise routes. LOL

Thanks for the notes on BYU, JC!! I didn't see a good part of the game. Also, Craig Bills wasn't on the depth charts that BYU put out early, so I'm guessing that they moved Povey out to BC.... I'll update my post accordingly!

Also, if anybody has Fox Sports 1, defending FCS Champs North Dakota State and their 17 white starters will be taking on Iowa State right now!! They have a great RB who's 2nd on the depth chart by the name of Chase Morlock, a guy to watch out for.

For the past two days, the sports media can't stop hammering away at their narrative that Kenny Hill already has the Heisman trophy wrapped up.

Hill's numbers:
44 of 60 (73%), 511yds, 3TD

That's with all those elite SEC athletes on his team. And most of us saw the game. South Carolina's defense was one of the worst prepared squads for any football game, ever. Hill took long naps in the backfield while his receivers went for long lonely walks. The game was a farce. It almost looked rigged. In short, Hill's performance was a fraud.

Here's my Week 1 Heisman leader

Brandon Doughty, Western Kentucky:
46 of 56 (82%), 569yds, 6TD

Excellent write up! Didn't realize Doughty put up those numbers, when I was watching early on he starred out 5/5 and he built on that for an excellent performance! Another guy who lit it up was WSU Connor Halliday. I believe he finished with 480yards and 4tds.

This NDSU team is a joy to watch! Other teams should take note on how to build a team recruiting local guys with high football IQs and non stop motors ;)

Preseason hype job UCLA and BSPN's annointed black quarterback of the year Hundley are struggling vs UVA. I am hoping UVA pulls this one out and just puts Hundley heisman talk and UCLA hype right in the trash.
