BTW this punishment for Suarez means he will miss 3 Champions League matches and the first two months of the Premier League. That's devastating for Liverpool. Sturridge leading them in the Champions League? :help:

Has there ever been this kind of punishment for a club due to the behaviour of one of their players on international duty?

it will be a very difficult season for liverpool, this season they did well because they didn't play european competition and lost early in national cups

no i didn't even know that FIFA could ban a player from playing in a league
when i saw he was banned from football related activities i thought he would be banned from FIFA public events or something like that

by the way thanks to the russians, my city is rioting now

sofiane feghouli (made in grenoble) after the game:

"this is for all the algerians in the world, all the arabs, all the muslims"

http://www.katibin.fr/2014/06/27/qualification-cest-les-algeriens-les-arabes-les-musulmans/

imagine messi after winning the world cup:

"this is for all the argentinians, all the whites, and all the christians" lol

see here for the truth about islam: http://www.castefootball.us/forums/showthread.php/16565-race-mixing-in-islam

That would be great if he said that hahaha but the media might not take so kindly to it though.

Russia did not look very threatening today in the last part of the match that I was watching. As has been said, they're a very average side, but nonetheless, I'm disappointed that they couldn't get out of their group. It seems like that attacking side from Euro 2012 really regressed under Capello; they only scored 2 goals! I hope Russia improves before they host the next World Cup.

My thoughts on the tournament so far:

First of all USA has surprised me and managed to make it out of one of the tougher groups. Theyve had great play fromClint Dempsey, and reluctantly Ill admit some of their half Black half White players have been playing well. Jermain Jones and Fabian Johnson in particular. Michael Bradley has also been solid.

I predicted USA would not make it out of the group and I was wrong. The pivotal match was their draw with Portugal. Portugal needed to win that but couldnt.

Second of all, happy to see a great match from Bosnia and Iran. Both teams scoring in style. Dzeko and Goochenajad's goals were awesome.

Thirdly, Algeria played some utterly awesome football. Their 4-2 win over Korea is the best match of the tournament Ive seen so far. Their 1-1 draw with Russia was breathtaking.

What a god damn goal by Islam Slimani. I suspect he'll soon be picked up by a major European club. He's a quality forward.

Sorry to see Russia eliminated. But Algeria deserves it and they played amazing.

Islam Slimani! What a goalscorer...

Algeria making the round of 16 is a huge achievement for Arab football. Algeria has 2 or 3 blacks on their team. But they also have 4 or 5 players who look white (Medjani, Mesbah, Ghilas, Yebda). Most of the team is Arab.

The hero and goalscorer Islam Slimani is 100 percent Arab.

Maybe now Arabs will play for Algeria instead of France now that Algeria has become successful. Can you imagine if Zidane, Benzema, and Nasri had played for Algeria instead of France? Algeria would be a top8 side.

Many of France's best playrrs are Arab Algerians. If they actually played for Algeria Algeria would be very good.

Screw France. If I was Benzema Id represent my country of origin, Algeria. Not France.

Greece beating Ivory Coast in injury time was also spectacular. Lots of upsets at this tournament.

Very cool to see Greece, Algeria, and Costa Rica in the round of 16. These are all underdog teams that have already done amazing to get this far...

all the players mentionned were born in france
funny how islam will make you root for an arab team while you are not arab
an arab team with black players and disgustingly non-representative of their country since exactly 74% of the 23 players are born in france

Algeria only started 2 blacks in their squad today. The other 9 players were Arab or white-looking. Their hero and goalscorer is Arab.

Of the 23 players on Algeria, 3 appear to be black, 5 to 6 appear to be white and the other 15 or so Arab.

I like Arabs and I have no problem cheering for them. They played a great match and their Arab goalscorer Slimani is fantastic.

In my opinion many Arabs and Persians are white, and if you really look at the Algeria squad Id say it has several white and almost white players. Thats good for me.

Algeria looks whiter to me than France or England two countries that are supposed to be European.

I'm a huge fan of Russia, so Iam sad to see Russia lose.

I support both white and middleeastern teams. Even teams like Mexico, Chile, and Uruguay are fine. You guys are way too stuck up on how you define "white".

Not all Arabs and Persians are Whites but there are still lots of biologically White Arabs and Persians. Whiteness doesn't just magically stop at the Mediterranean and the Urals mountains. Do you not consider the man in my avatar white ? Or what about Zidane (100% Algerian)

Calling Berbers Arabs is wrong. Genetically Arabs have more in common with Europeans than they do with Algerian Berbers. Genetically Caucasoids as a whole very closely related.

Look how spread out the other races are compared to Caucasians.

This should probably be taken to off-topic though.

Arab itself is nothing more than a language. It's not a race or ethnicity. Most Arabs today weren't Arabs 1000 years ago. They were Arabized by the Muslim conquerers from present day Saudi Arabia.

I don't understand this love affair with Algeria. Not one player on that team looks white to me. Also, did anyone see their fans? It seemed like they were headed to war. I hope Germany makes quick work of them.

I do not consider Assad white. Zidane, borderline...but at least one person here has been using Zidane as an example of a "non-white" who's "better" than white French soccer players. Just sayin...

I never said whiteness magically stops anywhere. It fades out. By the time one gets to Persia or Arabia, it's mostly gone. Look at the Saudi Wahabbis or the hordes of Egyptians protesting in the phony "Arab Spring" - they are not white.

At any rate, rulers are not a representative sample of the whiteness of nations because leaders tend to have lighter skin (which correlates positively with high IQ, which makes one more likely to be part of the elite) than their subjects. Take Jordan, for example - King Abdullah and Queen Rania are whites who rule a mostly non-white nation.

I haven't even started on the cultural differences that make Arab immigration to white countries unworkable, unsustainable, and unacceptable.

Many white nationalists are more interested in being anti-something than pro-white, which leads to a lot of stupidity ("the enemy of my enemy is my one twu wuv") and self-destructive behavior (and behavior that's destructive to white culture). One of the many reasons I call myself a pro-white, not a white nationalist.

About Assad,I think DNA disagrees with you. Here's Assad and his Syrian family

I know which poster your talking about in regard to Zidane. That same poster would probably consider Anders Brevik non White if he converted to Islam.

And yes of course Whiteness pretty much disappears in the Arabian Gulf but that's not true when it comes to places like the Levant, Turkey, and North Africa. I'm not saying any of those places are White nations but there are still lots of White people who live there.

And Kind Abduallah is 50% English but queen Rania is 100 Palestinian. And people in Jordan are racially no different than people in Lebanon.

Assad's wife is British. Assad himself is not white. Their kids show a lot of "diversity" - the one on the left looks like a Celt, the one in the middle has considerably darker skin, and the one on the right has non-white facial features.

Just cause she was born in Britain doesn't make her British. Both her parents are Syrian. And White people are the most diverse race.
