A dreadful Thursday night game between the Jaguars and Texans. Loser of this game likely ends up with the #1 overall pick in the 2014 Draft.

Based on the records and play of these teams, yes, it's an unappealing matchup. But still, there are some white players to root for, mostly on the Texans. I'm going to watch simply to see JJ Watt and also the further maturation of Case Keenum, who I think can be a star.

I'll also be watching for Keenum and Watt. The Jags have Posluszny as well. He has the third most tackles in the league as of now.

In other good news, the Patriots have re-signed Austin Collie. He was released due to a knee injury, so it would seem that he is now healthy.

The Texans gave the Patriots such a hard fight last week and now they can't do much of anything against the Jaguars. I hope they can turn it around.

Is this the ugliest game ever? It seems every other player is all tatted up and/or has those ridiculous dreads hanging out of their helmets. The Jagoffs uniforms are ugly enough that Oregon could be wearing them.

Wow... Keenum that was terrible, he had the first down if he ran it and would of stopped the clock.

What a mistake throwing it 2 feet too far on a over 50 yard pass.

Let's pretend for a moment that he was the saint that the Western media made him out to be, what the hell does he have to do with American football?

it was all over espn today, I am guessing at least an hour? i turned it off and turned it back on later and it was still on. Absolutely nothing related to sports except maybe some black athletes talking about Mandela as if they knew anything about him.

He was a murdering, anti-White terrorist. Black athletes would love him even more if they knew the truth about him. I told someone today that Mandela pleaded guilty to planting bombs in train stations to kill innocent people, they told me "No way, he was a pacifist" People don't even know a thing about his life. They think he's some kind of african Morgan Freeman/MLK You can be sure the movie that's coming out will be more bullsh*t myth making.

Looking ahead to Sunday - Chargers/Giants - could we see two white running backs? A girl can dream.

Exactly. Saddest thing I saw today was a post on FB from the lead singer of seether one of my favorite bands that hails from south Africa. It was truly sickening. 3paragraphs dedicated to this guy. Without the slightest remorse for his people and their own demise

The British South Africans are different than the Afrikaners.

Er...yes. I thought it was obvious.

Maybe I should post lots of "Tom Brady is a hottie" comments to make it more obvious?

The British South Africans have always been more pro-black than the Boers. Strangely, in the film Zulu, the lone Boer officer is shown chewing out a British officer after the Brit makes a comment about "cowardly blacks."

LOL! Maybe Beyondfedup thought that you were just a white-aware convert from the LGBT community. :icon_mrgreen:

Speaking of last night's game, who could have possibly thought that the Texans could fall so far since last year? It's hard to believe that it's still mostly the same team.

Last night's game wasn't too bad in terms of watchability. Both teams had relatively white defenses (by NFL standards).
The Texans have lost so many close games. They could easily be 6-7 instead of 2-11. Plus there's the point about penalty yardage that joegoofinoff made. The Jets are the flip side of that. They've been incredibly lucky to have a 5-7 record. 189 points scored, 310 points allowed.

Speaking of last night's game, who could have possibly thought that the Texans could fall so far since last year? It's hard to believe that it's still mostly the same team.

Part of the reason is because Matt Schaub has always had an average skillset, maybe above average at one point. He isnt very mobile (although his mobility was better in the past) and isn't good at going through his progressions. He often forces too much to Andre Johnson, which has led to more picks this year. Also the running game has fallen off with Arian Foster falling off. He had great vision to find the cutback lane which is what the zbs requires in a back. Ben Tate is good but not best suited for a zbs, his vision is average and doesn't take full advantage of the nice cutback lanes, not to mention the blocking isn't as good since they went mostly sumo.

Schaub did well with a good running game on roll outs where teams bit on the run which also cut the field in half requiring less reads, often forcing it to Andre Johnson, who while still good, isn't as great as he once was. This was always apparent when Kevin Walter was there, who could have eclipsed 1k multiple times, Schaub just never targeted him enough.

Keenum should still be playing, he is young and will make mistakes, but has the athleticism and talent level to make all of the throws and the mobility to roll out, and faster at going through his progressions.

What Schaub had in the past is similar to what Russel Wilson has now, a great running game and lots of roll outs, and Seattle's defense is doing great right now. If the running game falls off expect Wilson to struggle much more. Except for many years the Texans didn't have a good defense, before Cushing, Watt, Reed etc. Unlike Seattle, the dbs still can't cover.

Schaub was good and serviceable but his talent has dropped off. If things had lined up earlier with how Schaub played on offense a few years back and how the defense is now they would have been contenders for a while. Let Keenum develop and hopefully at least get a White safety, and try to upgrade the dbs with whatever talent is out there at the college level (still not much) and they can be contenders again. Also getting a White receiver would help and utilizing White tight ends more. They had some good ones that were developing they let get away like James Casey, now the Eagles are stacked at tight end.
