Texas Tech vs TCU, have to look up the numbers for White starters in a minute. They are going on and on about how the black quarterback would have started eventually anyway if it weren't due to injury. I am pulling for Tech, hopefully Kingsbury brings in more White wideouts like the Leach era. They have an awesome young qb, dude looks like a senior already the way he plays, I think he is a true freshman, but might be a redshirt freshman..

yep, a true freshman, and a walk on. Not surprising he had to walk on. Baker Mayfield, and he has some running ability too. TCU used to be more White friendly, more White linebackers, some safties every now and then, even had a hybrid wr/rb a while back.

looked it up, they both started with a whopping 5 White starters, although it maybe outdated because it doesn't listd Baker Mayfield as the starting qb and now TCU has a black quarterback so they have 4. Regardless going for the team with the great White qb. Amaro looks White to me and just had a nice catch.

I watched some of the TTU vs TCU game tonight and the broadcast team was talking about how all these freshmen QBs are able to come right in from high school and be successful.

David Pollack (who I think is actually pretty fair) actually said that the position is easier to play, the players play in the same offense in high school so their is no transition period, the offenses are not complex as they used to be and have been dumbed down. This is the first I have heard a broadcaster actually admit how much easier the position is to play - it was refreshing to hear especially on BSPN.

Basically he summarized many of our thoughts on the rise of black quarterbacks. I was somewhat astounded but also pleasantly surprised.

Also, it really sounds like this Hackenberg kid from PSU is going to be the next Andrew Luck. They praised him and the fact he is playing so well in a pro-style offense as a true freshman is amazing.

For the weekend games here are the ones with significant white starter differences.

Ohio 12 Marshall 4
Nevada 11 Fl St 2
Nebraska 10 UCLA about 7
Texas 6 Ole Miss 3
BC 13 USC 5
Iowa 16 Iowa St 11
Penn St 9 UCF 5
Rice 11 Kan 5
Texas SA 12 Ariz 8
Wisconsin 17 Ariz St around 7 I'm guessing

I'll be rooting for Texas A&M over Alabama just to mess with the SEC, and also for Manziels sake. The Wisconsin game should be its first big test of the year, hoping they do well, but they are a 5 point underdog.

I hope BC wins - they are a real caste buster this year. Amidon is probably the most dynamic WR in the game so far this season.

I think Wisconsin should win this game, their front 7 should contain the dynamic and criminally underrated Taylor Kelly. Beau Allen will be the best d-lineman on the field but that won't stop the announcers from talking up black sumo Will Sutton - take that to the bank.

Been watching UK and Louisville. Bridgewater has a cannon for an arm, but has struggled thus far with deep ball accuracy. Looks better than most black QBs I've seen in college honestly, however, it is against Kentucky.

Nebraska got off to a hot start but now they're resorting back to their old ways. Their defense looks better but once again their Dbs look awful

Celtic just hit the nail on the head. Nebraska and Martinez came out on fire, leading 21-3 with 2 minutes left to go in the 2nd quarter. Then, the Cornhuskers stalled out, and proceeded to get out scored 38-0 the rest of the way. Martinez looks lost out there at times, and overthrows/underthrows his WRs. His mestizo right tackle (Rodriguez) got him killed a few times today. Nebraska's front four was terrible for the 2nd half of the game too, giving Hundley all day to do whatever he wanted. Nebraska's DBs were torched time and time again.

On the bright side, Nebraska has been playing Westerkamp and their other white WRs a fair amount. On defense, Josh Banderas and Nathan Gerry will be future stars for the Cornhuskers. They are some special athletes, and should be starting for years to come.

I'm loving this Texas A & M vs Alabama Game so far. Johnny "the Dragon Slayer" Manziel is having his way so far in the first quarter. He hasn't missed a pass yet and he is also doing it with his legs. The Aggies are already up 14-0! Way to go Aggies. Johnny Football is amazing!

Johnny Manziel worked hard over the Summer at Camps to improve mechanics, etc...he's throwing darts! + runs like a Tailback...he will not be Tebow'd...put that in your pipe & smoke it!

The "Belldozer" proved he could throw the ball w 413 yards passing 4 TD's!

Despite giving up 5 staight touchdowns on defense to Alabama, Texas A & M just scored and we still have almost 25 minutes left to play in the 2nd half. Don't give up on this team yet. The kid is amazing and if they lose it has almost nothing to do with Manziel other than one bad pass the whole game. Come on Aggies!

Don't know the exact caste make-up of either team.......but Oregon is destroying the Vols.......generally when an SEC team loses to a West Coast team it's a good thing....

Weisman and Zwinak are both having good games so far at running back for Iowa and Penn State. I hope they both can go for at least 100 yards and a few tds. I have always liked Iowa as they are usually more fair towards white players. Especially at the wide receiver position.

Speaking of the Notre Dame-Purdue game, Purdue's group of white WR's is looking really good right now. They are very fun to watch! BJ Knauf is turning into a playmaker for the Boilermaker's offense, and I noticed that Shane Mikesky also had a catch on Purdue's last drive. Danny Anthrop I believe has been playing a lot tonight as well.

It is difficult to decide who to root for in this game......ND is very white......with a white RB scoring a TD...... Purdue has so many white WRs that I can't keep up......but ND has a better chance of being ranked.......all in all this is how all college games should look

Nice running by McDaniel for Natre Dame. I notice an offensive line never gets more compliments then when a White guy is running good.

How true is that? Herby was going out of his way to mention how well his offensive line was blocking. Notre Dame's affletic RB, Carlisle had 11 carries for 16 yards on the night, and with a fumble on his last carry as well!

McDaniel had 10 carries for 42 yards to end the game on that last drive... good running!! It was great seeing him in there tonight! Nice seeing him score his 1st TD!

Talking about how a team should look - I just saw Wisconsin line up on offense with 10 whites (one black tailback).

God bless the Badgers. Even whiter than BYU.

As a University of Louisville alumnus, I have seen Bridgewater's entire "career" up close. I am 41 years old, and I can tell you that Bridgewater is the best black QB I have ever seen. And the kid doesn't act like most black athletes, either. He is very respectful: everything is "yes, sir and no, sir." And he is always talking about helping his team and not himself. I might get a lot of grief on this board for saying nice things about him, but its just the truth.

Manziel played great in defeat. His only mistake was that interception in the end zone. The A&M defense did not stop alabama at all.

McCarron was also brilliant. Cannot say enough about him.

Leonardfan, is that Blake Bortles as your avi? I came to post about him. UCF knocked off Penn State behind Bortle's 20-27 passing for 288 yards, 3 TDs. JJ Worton had 7 receptions for 101 yards from Bortles. This team deserves national attention...Bortles looks like an NFL caliber QB in all regards. Can run too!

Zach Zwinak had 21 carries for 128 yards in that game to go with true freshman Hackenberg's 262 yards.

Sophomore Zach D'Orazio looked excellent in Akron's close loss to Michigan. 6 receptions for 98 yards. Devin Gardner struggled against a mediocre Akron defense, 3 ints and a lost fumble.

Jordan Lynch continues his unnoticed campaign, throwing for 152 yards and 3 TDs, while rushing 23 times for a 159 yards against Idaho.

Josh Smith had a 51 yard reception for Tennessee in a blowout loss against Oregon. True freshman Oregon TE John Munt had 5 receptions for 121 yards an 2 TDs.

Jaxon Shipley led Texas with 6 receptions for 83 yards against an Ole Miss team. Ole Miss QB Bo Wallace damaged Texas with his feet, while walk on Jordan Holder had a couple of grabs.

ECU has a 6'6" wideout in Bryce Williams....haven't heard of him. One to keep an eye out for in the future.

Arizona QB Bj Denker has 90 rushing yards in an ongoing battle with UTSA.

Blake Bell passed for 413 yards and 4 TDs starting over an injured Trevor Knight.

Mettenberger continues his dominance, 3tds and no ints. 9 TDs on the season. Hard to root for him when he's often the only white player on the LSU offense. None the less hope he cements his position in the NFL draft.

Tyler Gaffney had 20 carries for 132 yards.

What a horribly officiated ending to the Wisconsin game just now. They were robbed of a chance to win the game, although they shouldn't have been in that situation in the first place. Absolutely pathetic.

Vanilla_Sky - yes that is Bortles. He is playing really well right now yet no one talks about him...I wonder why.

Wisconsin got robbed of a chance to win that game. What B.S.
