At least according to Google. For the 5th year in a row Google has chosen to ignore Easter.
No Christ, no resurrection, heck, not even colored eggs. For Google, not even a secular Easter is worthy of celebration. So, what do we have instead? A celebration of Chavez's 86th birthday. I don't know about you, but I just switched to BING. At least they have colored eggs.
This from Twitchy: "Yep. While two billion Christians around the world celebrate Easter Sunday on this 31st day of March, Google is using its famous “Doodle” search logo art to mark the birth of left-wing labor leader Cesar Chavez.

For real:

Christians from all walks of life and political views expressed shock, dismay, and exasperation with Google’s diss"

I use ixquick, no polticial bull**** and they don't store IPs. The real issue with Google's logos is they're celebrating something every ****ing day. I can't remember the last time I saw the classic red, green, yellow and blue Google logo.

Not really sure why Google wouldn't worship at the alter of the pagan celebration symbolized by the "Easter" bunny. I always thought that was the secular way to obscure the Christian symbolism of the holiday. Now the second hand meaning of the holiday is still to close to the Christian meaning so that even that has to be ignored? It's getting tough to keep track of how the looney left thinks. I guess that's why it's the looney left.

I also noticed that picture yesterday, but the drawing was of such low quality that I didn’t even know who it was until I clicked on it and the image was called something like: “Cesar Chavez Birthday Painting.jpg.”

As Jaxvid mentioned, colored eggs, bunnies, flowers, and baby chicks are as “pagan” (not that there’s anything wrong with that) as Christmas trees, decorative lights, candy canes, and poinsettias. But the “hardcore left” knows full well that white Christians have fully adopted these ancient European symbols of springtime to go along with their Middle Eastern Bible, which describes a tale in which a Galatian savoir vanishes from his tomb (sealed with a large boulder) and ascends to Heaven subsequent to his crucifixion at the hands of the Jewish elite.

This picture was another atrocious business decision made solely to appease the Godhead of Cultural Marxism. Celebrating the birth of a little-known, long-dead professional bitcher, Mexican communist, racial activist, and white-loathing Latino-supremacist instead of the 2nd most important Christian holiday on the calendar. Brilliant stuff!

This was Google's recent homage to “international women’s day”…

The local college kids think this Chavez day is great. They have all day parties, get drunk and wander around town wearing sombreros. This year there's a big push for them to "respect" the holiday by leaving the sombreros at home. The Mexicans are always talking about "respect," yet they don't respect national borders or laws that don't suit them. And now they are taking over this beautiful state as a result. So their lack of respect for us is slowly but surely paying off.

Cesar Chavez was what is known as a Professional Mexican.
