Here's a tale about a team which is as anti-"modern football" as it gets - the Czech team Viktoria Plzen.

The team is owned by the City of Plzen (no Jewish Gangsters or Arab Sheiks, thank you very much), the budget of the whole club is a grand total of 3.2M Euros (80M Czech Crowns according to this article http://www.praguepost.com/news/10058-viktoria-plzeˆ-wins-huge-payday.html ), i.e. their whole team's yearly budget is worth about 15% of Balotelli's transfer fee from ManCity to AC Milan!
And yet they managed to win the Czech Championship last year, and played in the Group stage of the Champions league, finishing third in a tough group behind Barcelona and Milan.
This year they play in Europa League and just destroyed the Italian giants Napoli - currently second in Serie A - (3:0 in Naples, 2:0 in Plzen) and advanced into the round of 16 where they will play against the Turkish team Fenerbahce.
Oh, and did I mention their roster is completely white and almost completely Czech (with a couple os Slovakians)?
The Napoli fans complained all over the internet about their team of super-fit billionaires being trashed by a team whose players appear to have beer-bellies. Indeed, here's the picture of Viktoria's captain and best player ever, the 37-years old Pavel Horvath :icon_mrgreen: :

Le's hope this fairy tale continues. Go Victoria!!!!

Athletic Bilbao and now Pizen are 2 of my favorite teams.

Also, Napoli has no Africans or Brazilians on their team, which is a miracle, just a couple of Colombians, Uruguayans, plus 1 Argentinian.

How many teams don't have an African or South American on their team?

tonight borussia dortmund plays against shaktar donetsk in champions league
donetsk have many brazilian and is an experienced team in champions league, no africans
and dortmund are almost all-european
i hope that dortmund won't field their unique brazilian player, santana

also, in 2 days in the europa league, chelsea will face steaua bucharest
bucharest refused to buy the french flop sinama pongolle, the chairman said that he was "too black"
they have 2 brazilians on the roster according to wikipedia, the rest is all-romanian (+ 3 other eastern europeans)
they managed to kick ajax out in the latest round of europa league

Chelsea only had 2 blacks start. One was Mikel, of course. Chelsea will probably beat them next week.

It's good that they have a lot of Romanians, but these countries still export players to Spain, England etc , so they are taking up spots that should go to Spanish, English players. They were mentioning how well one of the Steau players was playing and said he will go to a bigger club soon. This is how players in the bigger countries lose out to these players.

I love that Tottenham beat Inter 3-0. 3 whites scored for them. Inter had two Italians play and 9 South Americans. Tottenham had 7 "British" play. So all these South American imports couldn't beat the 7 Brits ,which included several mulattoes. This is the state of "Italian" football.

Bale will miss the next game because of yellow cards.

Did you see the movie in English or dubbed in French?

i saw it in french, i watch all movies in french (in france we have good dubbing)
but i know that he said the same in english because many english-speakers noticed it

it's a shame that these clubs can't keep their best players anymore
steaua have won a champions league, not too long ago
if they could keep their players it would make the champions league so more interesting than it is now
now the rumanian club in champions league is cluj, and they have only 2 rumanian starters, half of the team is made of portuguese players, there are brazilians too

i hate internazionale
selling forlan to keep the mediocre players they have now, that's insane
it seems to be another aspect of modern football, the really good players from south america don't get much attention, but mediocre south american players get more
today the south american stars can only play in smaller clubs it seems
except a few argentines and brazilians
for example paolo guerrero was the top scorer of the last copa america with peru, but clubs like internazionale prefer having the mediocre south americans they have now, and guerrero went back to south america
i'd rather have a few south americans playing in europe, but the best ones, instead of the brazilian fullbacks, the unknown argentines ect
it used to be like this 10 years ago

Not too long ago? I wasn’t even born at that time^^ After the Bosman ruling it went pretty much downhill for the “minorâ€￾ Leagues since they couldn’t hold on to their players anymore, the collapse of the Eastern Block and Yugoslavia, the change to the Champions League and the decision to dismantle the UEFA Cup did pretty much the rest. Now all you see the same clubs every year (Real, Barca, ManUtd), the Euro League is a farce, and I don’t think that a club like Steaua could ever win the Champions League again.

In the eighties and seventies there were teams like Red Star Belgrade, PSV and Steaua București that won the title, teams like Malmö FF as runner ups, and teams like ZSKA Sofia, RSC Anderlecht, Dundee United and Kiev as semifinalists.

i wasn't born either, but let's say that it didn't happen a century ago

and I don’t think that a club like Steaua could ever win the Champions League again.

one of the reasons for this is the refereeing
in champions league there are much, much more "refereeing mistakes" than in the europa league

Every final since the 2004 edition - in which FC Porto defeated AS Monaco - has been contested by clubs from the Big Four leagues (England, Spain, Italy, Germany). As if that wasn't bad enough, only two clubs from outside those "Big Four" leagues have managed to reach the semi-finals: PSV Eindhoven in 2005 and Lyon in 2010...

in russia, anzhi didn't qualify for champions league, for the second year, that's a huge failure considering how much money was invested

anzhi has recruited a lot of black players, it became one of the most non-white teams in europe:

Afro-Milan with their new, tacky gold outfits. Do they get those thick "pimpy" 14k gold chains to fit with these jerseys?

It was just a question of time...

The 31-year-old Hitzlsperger, a midfielder, said he came out because he felt the subject of gays in sports was "simply ignored" and he "want[ed] to promote the discussion of homosexuality among professional athletes."
...
"I was never ashamed of how I am," said Hitzlsperger, who had 52 caps for Germany between 2004-10 and also played for clubs in England, Italy and Germany before persistent injuries ended his career this fall at Everton of the Premier League.
...
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle -- who is openly gay -- and Theo Zwanzinger, president of the national soccer federation, also rallied to Hitzlsperger's side.

Surely some Castillians have the backbone to revolt?
I mean Zidane?
Instead of Puskas,Di Stefano,Raul?

Heck,current RM players like Casillas,Ramos would've great(and Spanish).

Actually,CR7 would be good too.

Buit no,we get ugly,bald,muslim Zidane.
Does Fiorentino Perez have a crush on Zidane?

Because,Frederic, surely,Real does not make that much money from the Arabs.
So,what's the deal?

arabs own most of the big clubs, with jews owning the other ones, and a few asians
real madrid's sponsor is arab
their fanbase is arab (go see their facebook page, almost all comments are from arabs)

in the past they have targeted asians with david beckham, and sometimes they go in asia to play a few friendlies, but now their main market is arab
the arab's favourite teams are real madrid, barcelona, AC milan and now chelsea

Also, what's the story behind this? Is there even one?
Or is Diego Lopez so much better? From the few Real matches I have seen this season,I think not.

I'm seeing too many class white players being humiliated by their own owners nowadays(Mata,Kaka,Menez and now Casillas),so I have my suspicions.

he has weak points but instead of obviously humiliating him by starting diego lopez instead of him they should have bought a foreign goalkeeper
if you want the best, you go with a foreign goalkeeper
if you want a spanish goalkeeper, casillas is good enough

Another thing about modern football that gets on my nerves.

836854064.gif

Much like the rest of society, footballers too are now an emasculated, metrosexual breed.

If Ronaldo was so unhappy with Gurpegui shoving him,why didn't he punch him?
Why scratch him,like a lady?
Ideally he should've shoved him back him and made him fall.

And why is Gurpegui acting like he is shot or something?Does he have cojones?

'Modern Football',I tell you...

Obviously Casillas isn't the best, but surely he is good enough to start in the league, every now and then?
I expected him to push for a move this January, but I'm sure he'll move come summer.

Mancity lost the game against Barca because of a penalty which never was.

The contact was outside the box and should never have been a penalty:

messi-penalty-2.gif

The poor standard of refereeing is a plague on Modern football.
But jews promote looseness everywhere and the result is this-imbeciles in all positions of authority, just the way the jew wants it. Imbeciles tend not to challenge tyrrany, jewish tyrrany.

You know the standard of refereeing is poor when that^ man is frontrunner for officiating the WC final in the summer.
Okay,Suarez did the whole 'shot by a sniper' act(look at that second tumble!),but Howard Webb was a few yards away, looking straight at it with nothing whatsoever to obscure his view!

Blatant penalty missed.

How only one of these is a red card is inexplicable:

Boateng's foul:

boateng-pen-1.gif

Szczesny's foul:

AssuredPleasantChanticleer.gif

For me,neither were 'clear-cut' chances and a covering defender would've got back in time to make a block.

Anyways,Szczesny's reaction after getting sent off was hilarious and summed up my feeling with regards to UEFA's officials:

Excellent ananlysis of why only of the above is a red card.

City's double punishment was warranted. Arsenal's not so. As said in the article, if that's not the rule, then Messi can and will be chopped down every time he breaks free out of convenience. Dimichelis clearly has no chance at getting the ball as Messi is already in front of him and has touched the ball yards ahead. I see Szczeny's differently: a goalkeeper's foul is almost by default in the situation of a goal scoring opportunity, so goalkeepers must practically not foul at all, or be sent off? He legitimately comes for the ball which he is clearly in front of and in decent position to challenge for; though fractionally late, he makes no special movement to suggest he is trying to take the player, etc. Refereeing myself, I know that the argument that suggesting "deliberate" be part of a rule can be problematic because one cannot know the intentions of a player in certainty, but with each of these situations being so unique, it is possible to make some finer distinctions. Still too, I know referees who would not have sent off in that situation. [Though I'd argue against Robben's change being a clear goal scoring opportunity. Already having jumped up, he has mistouched the ball with the outside of foot and sent it out of his path of movement; he has to land and change trajectory, then accelerate enough to catch the ball which is bouncing away from goal and player with Sagna arriving immediately while Monreal is about to cover the goal.
