Clinton Portis is quite possibly the most ignorant player in the NFL. That's really saying something. For those that don't remember him, Brian Mitchell was a run of the mill backup RB and kick returner, who will probably make the Hall of Fame, believe it or not, due to the fact that he is the all-time leader in total yards from scrimmage. He'd be great competition to Charlie Sanders for the title of most ridiculous Hall of Famer. Edited by: bigunreal

From scrimmage? Just a guess but I believe it may have been in total yards (not from scrimmage) due to all the return yardage.

You are right, Kaptain. Without all those kick returns, Mitchell's yardarge totals would be anemic, since he rarely played RB. Still, expect to see a big push to put him in the Hall of Fame.
