Since we're talking about HS girls, here's another one, Egle Staisiunaite from Illinois.
She won both the 100m and 300m hurdles at the State meet.
She is the 2nd fastest 100m hurdler in state history, and the 2nd fastest 300m hurdler in the country this year.

Turns out that Egle isn't the only fast white, girl hurdler in Illinois. She won the AA State Championship and this girl, Ashley Kasnick, won the A State Championship.

And it doesn't stop there.
This girl, Natalie Tarter, the only girl to beat Egle this season, came in 2nd at the State meet.
She also finished 4th in the 100m, and 3rd in the 300m hurdles.
And she is only a sophomore!
They're doing something right in Illinois...

It seems that Egle, who won the Illinois State championships last year in both hurdle events, is making a nice transition to college track.
