Rodriguez, a white Spaniard running for the Puma Chapin Jerez club placed 1st in the 60m with a time of 6.69 in the Athino 2007 track meet on Feb. 24 in Athens, Greece. His previous best in the event was 6.73. Placing 4th with a time of 6.75 was Matic Osovnikar and in 7th place with a time of 6.76 was Dariusz Kuc.
Rodriguez who is 26 years of age is currently the #1 ranked 100m sprinter in Spain (PB 10.24) and the #2 ranked 200m sprinter (PB 20.99).
