Here are the majority white 2005 Division 1-A College Football teams out of the 89 researched. These numbers are out of 22 full time offensive and defensive positions.

1. BYU-19
2. Boise State and Ohio-17
4. Utah-16
5. Army, Wyoming, Northwestern, and Colorado State-15
9. Cincinatti, Ball State, Rice, Air Force, and Iowa
State-14
14. Miami of Ohio, Utah State, North Texas, Navy, and
Idaho-13
19. Ohio State, Wisconsin, Colorado, Vanderbilt, West
Virginia, and Buffalo-12
25. Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Kentucky, Florida
International, Indiana, Stanford, Duke, Kansas
State, Tulsa, and Arizona State-11

Notre Dame, Boston College, Illinois, Kansas, Wake Forest, TCU, Akron, and California just missed the list with 10 out of 22.

Gary's "whitest college teams" thread gave me the idea for trying to do this type of research.Edited by: Colonel_Reb

Go BIG TEN! Ohio State, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota. Darn, and me a Michigan fan. smileys/smiley18.gif

Well jaxvid, Michigan has 8, which is more than all but 1 SEC team. So relatively speaking, I guess they aren't that black of a team. In reality though, they are. I have always paid attention to Michigan and they have gotten blacker over the last decade, like most other schools. There are very few schools who still resist the trend to recruit more and more blacks every year. Those who continue to go down that path are ignorant and reprehensible to me.

I am really disappointed in Navy-I though they would be a really White Team-so I'll cheer for Army this year.

Gary, Navy has more whites than what I reported, it's just that the team info is incomplete. I think they will end up with at least half the starters being white. Hopefully someone else can help me out with some of the other positions on that team. Another thing to remember is that the service schools racial makeup can change fairly significantly from year to year, and it usually goes back the other way after a year or two. I think this may be one of those times for Navy.

I think your right Colonel Reb-Navy most likely will be a very White team this year[I hope]-I'll keep an eye on them. I never really cheered for BYU before but I'll follow them this season. I used to live in Ohio,so I always liked Ohio State-there is a small college there called Mt.Union they are very White and very good.

Gary, Mt. Union is well known to all who truly follow college football. That school has an unreal coach in Larry Kehres. They are almost all white and have the best winning percentage of any college team since 1990!

I will be at BYU this fall and I will let ya'll know how things go up there. Our new coach is Bronco Mendenhall, and I think he is ready to bring back the glory days of BYU football.

Navy will probably have 11 or 12 white starters. There were 3 or 4 names I just couldn't figure out.

Wow, look at North Texas up there with 13. Go Mean Green!

If I am not mistaken I believe I read that BYU lost several bad apple black players over the summer.

I remember when Bronco Mendenhal came to Austin as a member of an Oregon State team that were throttled by the Texas Longhorns. He has a great name.

Bronk, BYU did lose 4 or 5 blacks over the off season. It seems as though they are slowly moving away from white RB's like Luke Staley, but we'll have to see what Mendenhall does with his first recruiting class before passing judgement, as Gary Crowton was the coach who brought in the black RB's. With that said, I don't think you'll see a major shift anytime soon.

To U-M's credit, they have recruited a couple white running
backs as actual running backs within the last decade.

John Anes from East Kentwood (Grand Rapids suburbs)
played as a true freshman and had over 100 yards against
UCLA, remember Keith Jackson announcing the game, and the
big boy was rumblin'. But, Anes had serious depression
problems and quit the team. His brother, Curt, was the start
quarterback -- Harlon Hill winner -- when Grand Valley State
won the DII national championship.

A couple years later U-M signed Reggie Benton, pretty big
speed back from Grand Blanc (Flint suburbs), But he never
graduated high school and last I heard was in the Army. Edited by: GreatLakeState

Yes UM is very racially predictable.

White QB
White FB
Black RB
Black WR
White TE
White OL
Mixed DL
Mixed LB
Black DB's

I would say that this is true 95% of the time over the last 20 years.

Wyoming seems to have a lot of Whites on the Team and last year they beat U.C.L.A in a bowl game. If some of these White Friendly Teams can have really good seasons,we could throw a monkey wrench into the PC System. More wins in boxing, More White Teams winning in college football, baseball teams with lots of Whites in the line-up going into post season play. I'd like to see White Males drive the PC Media nuts by WINNING AND WINNING!!

Colonel Reb you need to look up more MAC teams and I think you'll be pleased by the results. Ohio H.S. football has so many great players and most of them white unlike the south but since all these kids can't go to white friendly Ohio St they get screwed by other big time programs. Then they have to settle for the MAC. I bet if you look up Frank Solich's new team the Ohio Bobcats you'll be happy with the results you'll see. They even had a white HB for some of last year although he graduated now.

Same with Michigan, as the MAC schools and Grand Valley get
white kids who could play in the Big Ten. Jason Babin was a
first-round pick out of WMU a couple years ago. CMU had two
white linemen drafte this spring. WMU has an incoming
freshman running back who set a ton of records in Flint.

I know all about Grand Valley State. They are a perenial D2 power. I know of one of the coaches at Western Michigan. I'll have to keep my eyes out for his players this year. I was planning on doing some more WAC and MAC schools later this summer. I have reached burnout again though, so I will take a week or so off from it. I know those schools are definitely more white friendly. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

Based on my own research and that done by others, Division 1A College Football is rapidly approaching 50/50 racially. I would argue, based on my own work, that indeed most teams starters are majority black. Only 21 of the 63 teams I have reviewed are half white or more. That's just 1/3. I'm sure if I did all 117 teams, I would end up with closer to half, but still, a lot has changed for the worse in college football over the last 10-15 years. As for the overall team rosters racial composition, I would say over half are still majority white. God help the white college football fan if the average team roster gets to be 60 black/40 white!

I think you have to have a high-school diploma to go into the army.

Don Wassall

According to this article, slightly over half of the scholarship players in I-A were black as of 2003. I would guess that if you looked just at the top 40 or so I-A programs, the percentage of blacks would be over 60%, orfairly close towhat it is in the NFL. The starting lineups of most elite I-A schools differ little from the starting lineups at the pro level as far as racial composition. The biggest difference would be a significantly higher number of starting black QBs in I-A.

I don't doubt those numbers at all. There has been a major shift since 1990 in college football. It has made good old fashioned defense a rare commodity.

The important thing is that white dominated teams succeed. With that, stereotypes cannot flourish.

Colonel_Reb
08-01-2005, 07:22 PM
Icespeed, I know what you are saying, but the truth is, as long as the Caste System media is in control, they will continue to push those stereotypes, and they will have an effect even if significantly white teams keep winning championships. To add to your thought though, I think a Division 1A playoff system would favor white-friendly teams, as they are usually more consistent in their level of play.

How 'bout Boise State vs. Florida State one year. If that'll happen things would change.

Colonel_Reb
08-03-2005, 09:23 AM
It would help our cause no doubt, but I don't know if it would have much of an effect on the media's slant against white players. The truth would be shown for that game, yes, but what would the after-game spin be? FSU's RB had the flu or BSU got lucky. Realistically that's what we would see. The good thing is that those who saw the game live would know the truth.

I wonder if the CSU vs BYU Game will be on national tv.IF it is,Colonel Reb should hold up a Caste Football Sign.Ha.ha.That is going to be a great game.I wish I could come up to Utah and see it with you. When is BYU going to have another good white running back?I've been waiting patiently since Staley left after his junior year.I've always wondered if he would have stayed for his senior year if they would have hyped him for the Heisman. That would have been exciting.

Whitelightning, I just might do that. I will definitely be distributing cards that day, and this Saturday too. People here are excited about the season. It is cool to be at the school with the whitest team in the land, even if their religious beliefs are contrary to mine.

Thank you Colonel Reb-I am happy they have 13 Whites. But I'd be much more happy if the whole team was White and they won all there games. Thanks for the info-I really appreciate that!!

I just updated Air Force to 14 from 12. It seems that Don was right as several college teams have gone with more white starters as the season began. Unfortunately, Tre Smith has had the opposite happen to him at Auburn. He looks to be no more than the 2'nd or 3'rd back in the rotation, and will probably see no more than 5 carries a game for the rest of the season. I hope I am wrong and this changes.

I just updated the original list with Stanford, which had 11 white starters this past season. RB Toby Gerhart has committed to Stanford and he may have a decent shot at TB there.Edited by: Colonel_Reb
