Way to keep the dream alive Dallas. It's not too late. The trend now is going towards taller sprinters and you fit the bill. Good luck this summer brother.

Just noticed in the results for the Tennessee Invitational, Dallas Robinson 2nd in the 100m - 10.34 (3.3w).
Not too bad; and good to see that he is back competing competitively.

I sent Dallas a email through his youtube account and here is what he sent back.

hey buddy.... well I unfortunately 3 weeks ago in Atlanta pulled my hammy pretty bad. I am just now back up to jogging. I am pretty down about the whole deal but I just have to keep faith that God has a plan. The race can be seen on www.flotrack.com It was 58 degrees for the 100m on day 1. Bad times for everyone.

Sorry to let you or anyone else down. Keep me in your prayers bro

Dallas

well it looks like the trials are out for him, but i hope he sticks with this. at only 26 he still has a few more good years in him.

I would have to say that it is probably bad news. HPC really has some good trainers and coaches there. It will be very hard if not impossible to get that type of hands on coaching. Let's hope for the best however. The biggest thing in my mind is consitancy. Staying with the same coach for a long time providing he is a good coach. Look at Wariner with Coach Hart. I'm anxious to continue to follow Dallas. What a story it would be if he made some serious noise at the US Olympic Trials.

It looks like Dallas is no longer with HPC.http://hpcsport.com/eliteteam_archive

It looks like he's competing "unattached." Anyone know what happened? Is this a good or bad thing for Dallas?

Dallas is competing in the GT Invitational. He qualified today in the 100 to win his heat in a time of 10.43! Let's see what he can do in his next race. I hope he can stay healthy and start to get his confidence back. I wish he would also post an update here. Hey Dallas, were all rooting for you!

Well I was wrong. Apparently Maximus is a bit of a troll. I checked some other threads and just about every post of his has been to point out black athletic superiority.

Maximus, if you are going to debate us stop cherry picking our arguments and debate us point by point. I'd like to see how you respond to both my later posts and SteveB's last post in the Pettigrew thread! Or how about you debate us point by point in our "Need Help Convincing Drunk White Fans" thread or "Heated Caste Arguments on Youtube" thread in the NFL forum. Until then tudalu you drama queen!

I don't agree with excessively using the troll label. That is not how we grow the site. Maximus hasn't said anything demeaning to white athletes yet. The fact is; that until better methods are found to rid track of steroids it is nearly impossible to win clean at 100 meters. I think Dallas with his relatively lean build for a sprinter and the fact that he is a strong Christian is a clean sprinter, which makes him a very honorable human being.

Dallas will have to go sub 10 to even have a chance at an Olympic medal in the future. I hope to see the day when roiding is gone where high 9.9xs become the standard winning times at the Olympics rather than low 9.8s. Dallas's only chance is a clean field.

Looking at what track used to look like before the American continent roiding epidemic; in the 40s, 50s and 60s whites were competitive at 100 meters. Blacks usually won, but there was a significant amount of white victories at that distance. This included a surprise record from German Armin Hary in 1960 who was almost definitely clean at the time of 10 flat. Black Bob Hayes later tied it in 1964.

Black Euros aren't dominating the way blacks from this continent are which is another sign something is up with the system over here. IMO there hasn't been roiding to the same degree as here over there since the Soviet Bloc nation cheaters. I honestly think most of the track coaches on this side of the Ocean are encouraging their sprinters to juice to increase their chances and increase revenue for the U.S track team.

Of course my other theory is that roids work a little better on blacks than whites. Just like Alcohol effects Native Americans differently, it is certainly possible that roids work better on blacks! The gap isn't as large as it seems. Just look back to the 40s, 50s and 60s if you don't believe me!

Huh?  Padgett elevating himself to the upper echelon sprinters in the US makes me a troll?  I don't see the connection.

Making the Olympics may have just gotten a little more difficult.  Team USA has another sub-10 guy.  Clemson junior Travis Padgett just scorched a 9.96.

I'm not even sure that Dallas knew though, that this was a board that fights against stereotyping of white athletes as tight hipped/ slow etc. He may have just done a search for his name and found this site. But none the less we are not a racist board, at least the great majority of posters here. We simply want to support our heritage (in my case Irish/ Scottish and English) and fight against the stereotypes that hold whites back in sports. Many of us cheer for Asians like 110 meter hurdles record holder Liu Xiang as well b/c they are also victims of stereotyping. Good luck Dallas and don't be afraid to come back to this site to chat with us. We're fans of you and will be cheering you on in your endeavors!

I hope he continues to come here to post or at least read what his fans have to say. This is not a racist board. This is a message board that supports white athletes. There are other notable athletes who come here without mentioning names. We can only hope that Dallas realizes that we support people of our european heritage without knocking others down. White people need to embrace our culture. There is nothing wrong with that as every ethnicity celebrates theres.

Good luck to you Dallas. I hope you recover quickly and shut up some of the many skeptics out there who only root against you because of the color of your skin. We wish you health, wealth, and a trip to China!

Dallas, are you still there? I do hope you continue to post here or at least read what others cheering for you have to say.

This is a frustrating example of a white athlete who was threatened - by the discontinuation of his sponsorship - for exercising his freedom of speech. White athletes and whites in general can only think their thoughts; they can't say them, for if they do, they'll lose their job and reputation. Politically correct government coercion, a biased media, and a corrupt educational system - all factors that lead to our silence and guilt complex.

Forget 10.1 guys, to make the Olympics you have to run 9.9. There's no two ways about that.

I don't agree. With all the guys from the American continent being busted for roids, where whites are kept away from track from brainwashing, we might see more of a clean field. IMO we will be seeing times of 9.9-9.95 win the 100 Meter Gold in the near future with better steroid detection methods. From my studies looking at the history of track before the roiding era I think the fastest time a black could run w/o roids is about 9.85-9.9. The fastest time a white could run "present day" w/o roids would be about 9.95-10 flat. That would make us very competitive, if the white sprinter got a good jump and the blacks didn't. 9.9-10flat is a difference of 1 meter apart at the finish line. I am expecting 9.9x's to become the winning times if and when this roiding non-sense ends!

It's a shame that the track coaches have no respect in this continent and are encouraging the pumping of steroids into their athletes for an advantage. It's all a money making game. It's only a matter of time until the next Balco bust. The Euro community seems to have more respect than this. You don't see black Euro's in the 100 meter final often at all.

There are alway exceptions Greek Kenteris the 200 meter champ in 2000 was likely a roider, but you see what happens when you roid, you win if you have the talent and you're not caught. We've gotta start catching these cheats!

That sounds like Bob Hayes. Though I didn't go back and read any comments from Cash to confirm it.

Well 10.48 certainly isn't a good time for guys trying to qualify for the Olympics I'd agree. I just thought it was from a lack of training, but it turns out it is injury which is also bad . He needs to steadily improve and hopefully run a sub 10.1 this season. He needs consistent times the 10.1xs.

10.48 is a time that speedy guys in the NFL run. For instance Devin Hester who is considered the face of electrifying speed in the NFL runs a PB of 10.42. The fastest man in all of college football Trindon Holliday ran a 10.02 in June of 2007 and he is the fastest guy in quite some time in college football.

Trindon is so fast he broke former LSU sprinter and current Olympian Xavier Carters school record in the 100 Meter. Xavier's best 100 Meter time is 10.09, but he has run a 19.63 200 Meter.

And it is very true what was said in the NY times article. If they really start catching these roiders and it is taken out of track the winning Olympic times in the 100 meters will probably average in the high 9.9s rather than mid 9.8s.

I just saw a video of the race. Dallas was in the top 3 and at the front of the pack. Then he experienced a back/hip injury about halfway through. He shut it down after that. He would have had alot faster time. In the comment section, Dallas admitted that he suffered an injury. Here is to a speedy recovery my friend.

I knew something had to be up because Dallas should be able to run a 10.48 even with ankle weights. At least we know why his time was not up to par. We are rooting for you brother.
