Is the 13th man a reference to the 12 men on a side.

www.13thman.com is an excellent fan site and has a great forum. Probably the one site every CFL fan should visit on occasion.
http://www.oursportscentral.com/ Carries a lot of news for the CFL, AFL and the minor indoor football leagues. Always good to swing by every few days.

Icespeed, Josh Ranek is not NFL material only because he is white. He played at SDSU and was outstanding - I believe he broke records and led the nation - the conference for sure. Now many will say that he was only D-II and isn't NFL material. Well you might remember Lamar Gordon (actually I think he is still playing in the NFL) as Marshall Faulks back-up and recieving some playing time when Faulk was injured. Gordon played for NDSU in the same conference as SDSU. Gordon compiled less yards and had a lower yards per carry average than Ranek - oh, and he also was slower - but black. Both players entered the draft the same year. Gordon got drafted, of course, and recieved immediate playing time. Ranek went as a free agent to the Dallas Cowboys and was cut because he was too slow.
Ranek recieved playing time in the CFL due to an injury of the teams normal starting RB (black). Since then he has been tearing in up in Canada.

Josh Ranek and the Ottawa Renegades are playing Montreal to-night in an exibition preseason game and you can catch it on the internet radio at www.team1200.com/listen.live/index.asp# at 7:00 pm est.
T.J.Acree and the B.C. Lions are also playing to-night in Calgary at 9:00 pm est on www.am770chqr.com
As far as the high school all stars I think the US team was from Florida only and not country wide but would still be an excellent team, but Canada was picking country wide with the majority coming from Quebec and Ontario. But I think each state could probably put to-gether an all star team as good or better.

Acree is going to the CFL!!! Man I hoped he got
picked up. He had Jerry Rice like talent and was a big part of
Zabransky's success. Is Josh Ranek NFL material?
Anybody remember my post around the Super Bowl where it said Canadian
high school all stars beat American high school all stars. What
does this mean for football's future.

Fox Sports Net Buffalo (Empire Sports) shows CFL games. If you get satellite or cable, you can usually get all the Fox Sports Net stations for a few bucks a month. However, many of their live local telecasts of baseball, basketball and hockey games are blacked out (but not CFL games).

The Grey Cup is usually televised every year nationally on Fox Sports Net and occurs around Thanksgiving.

I know NESN carries CFL games, but I think you have to live in New
England if you don't. I like watching CFL and Arena league games
just as much as NFL games.

I was wondering if anyone knows a good site for CFL info. Also does american cable (foxsports) or any network carry there games. They seem to be less anti-white and I would like to see some games televised.
