Thanks, y'all! I believe these barriers will continue to fall as more people become aware of the problem and voice their opposition towards it. White talent cannot be ignored forever.

This is the first time in my lifetime that this achievement has been accomplished. That's sad that for 27 years White athletes have been so blatantly discriminated against. At the same time I'm optimistic for the future. Last season it was Hillis ending the 1,000 rushing drought and now this. Let's hope the tide is turning.

Great job Col. Reb compiling this info!

Hopefully he can an impress at a pro day an hope for a tryout. Brock Bolen is in the league. At least with Brian Leonard they could say "well they had Ray Rice", but looking at Leonard's performance at tailback, why couldn't they split carries the way Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson did their senior season? Why was Leonard forced to go to fullback? This case is much worse, nobody is out performing Joe, and he is the type of back that needs double digit carries to perform at his best.

This is how the regular season ended up
                        att yds avg lng td
Jawan Jamison	204	766	3.8	56 (TD)	7
Jeremy Deering	47	169	3.6	19	0
Savon Huggins	56	146	2.6	26	5
Joe Martinek	20	119	6.0	21	0
DeAntwan Williams	20	59	3.0	12	0

receiving
Joe Martinek	27	262	9.7	60 (TD)	1
Jeremy Deering	4	65	16.3	37	0
Michael Burton	8	63	7.9	13	1
Jawan Jamison	7	59	8.4	22	0
Savon Huggins 1	11	11.0	11	0

This is Joe's 200 carry season in comparison to Jamison's
                        att yds avg lng td
Joe Martinek	206	967	4.7	61 (TD)	9
Jawan Jamison	204	766	3.8	56 (TD)	7

So Joe Martinek had almost over a yard per carry per rush, was also a sophomore when putting up those numbers. I don't see how people can't see the obvious discrimination.

Tebow is now 6-1 as a starter. The Broncos are now tied for first place in the AFC West. It is wonderful to see this young and talented athlete make so many sports writers eat their words. Tebow is a winner who inspires everyone of his teammates to play to their highest potential. The Broncos were 1-4 and going nowhere until Mr. Tebow was handed the reigns at quarterback. At 240 lbs, Tebow is virtually unstoppable near the goal line. His passing seems to improve with every game. If Denver finishes with a record of 11-5 or 10-6 and makes the playoffs, Tebow should get serious consideration as the NFL's most valuable player. That award will probably go to Arron Rodgers of the Packers, but my vote would go to Tebow.

The facts are that Jordy is not an anomaly or a "freak" but just one of the many White athletes with similar skillsets that never make it as far as he has due to the inherent caste system that starts as early as the Pee Wee leagues but is more pronounced after High School when scholarship offers are made.

However, the NFL, BSPN, and the other "caste" of characters must make the casual viewer and DWFs believe that he is some kind anomalistic freak otherwise their whole house of cards would come crashing down. So, statements are made by one or more of his teammates and the guffawing crowd of paid circle jerks at BSPN like "...but he is not like the other ones...", etc, airing their obvious racist laundry with impunity.

With a strong 6'3" 220lb frame, good hands and sprinter's speed, Jordy should have been considered an elite WR coming out of high school with dozens of schools lining up to offer him a scholarship, but no, he had to walk on instead just like the great majority of White athletes must do. Jordy is not a "poster boy" of some anomalistic great White freak athlete, but a "poster boy" of the inherent Caste system that most White athletes face every day.

Great article. A very nice compilation of some of the many white recievers we have discussed here through the years and the unfair treatment they have faced. Hopefully the wider audience of SBPDL is able to further disseminate this information throughtout the internet.

I would also ask: When is the NFL racial bias committee going to address this issue? Whenever there is a case of racial unfairness the NFL has committed to investigation and if necessary remedy and punishment. I see several examples of this from this article ranging from verbal harrassment, to a pattern of occupational stereotyping in denying employment.

I also wonder why all these high performing White receivers have to be walk-ons on their college teams? This would indicate a widespread collusion and conspiracy to deprive a specific racial group of players from the benefits of a college scholorship. This indicates a clear case of educational institutional bias, and these colleges, as required by law must observe strict racial neutrality or face legal and finacial punishment.

I will hold my breath waiting for the legal system to be properly applied in this case.

A nice and convincing article for those who are open-minded enough to accept something outside the caste paradigm. I'm a little surprised that Kersey used slightly outdated info regarding White sprinters very early in his article. Christophe Lemaitre is now within the top 200 and poised to jump into the top 100 with a 9.88 run. The original source he mentioned is now in error.

CF is a clearinghouse for info like what Kersey is using, and even if he does cite another "original" source in his articles, he undoubtedly owes a debt of gratitude to CF, as do all of us. I too would like to see him give CF credit a little more often than he does, but I am glad that more people are posting such info online. I believe that Kersey is trying to maintain an image for his site that requires the use of multiple citations of original sources. Not a bad thing, but it does seem off-putting at times that he neglects to mention things that he is very likely to have found *through* CF.

One thing I don't agree with in this article is the assertion that all or most of the change to black WRs and DBs resulted from the NFL rule changes in 1978. It was changing way before then, thanks the the cultural Marxist driven Caste System.

Colonel Reb-I don't consider Vaught's off the record quote to Gillespie hearsay, because I am personally acquainted with a person who witnessed it and reported it to me-an intern in the Commercial Appeal sports department who was present and overheard the entire conversation and reported it to me in the late 60's. He's a very reliable source IMHO. Now I guess Vaught could have had a "Saul on the road to Damascus" conversion at some point in time thereafter in which he repented of his old ways, and joined the ACLU and the NAACP, but I've never heard about it if it happened. The fact that a few white players got illegal inducements during the "bad old days" of racially segregated SEC football doesn't change the undeniable fact that the practice was and is much more prevalent in the post segregation era because black players demand it, and pandering white coaches who think the must have black 'ath-a-letes" to be succesful are willing to oblige them. If you think Bobby Ray Franklin's '57 Ford was something, compare it to the car J.R. Ambrose got which helped get Ole Miss put on probation. I personally spoke with a former Ole Miss assistant coach named Don Young while he he coaching later in his career at Northwest Miss. Jr. College in Senatobia under then head coach Bobby Ray Franklin(Is that enough verifying detail for you?) He advised me that he had been on Steve Sloan's staff at Ole Miss, and had been involved in recruiting as an assistant coach at numerous other Division 1 schools throughout what had up to that point been a 25 plus year coaching career when I spoke to him in the late 80's. He told me that during his entire recruiting career he had only had one white recruit ask him about illegal inducements to sign, and he thinks he might have been joking. On the other hand, he said every top black prospect he encountered asked about them, either directly or through a relative(ala Cam Newton) or family friend and if he told them as he did under Sloan at Ole Miss that none were available, he was no longer welcome at the recruit's home- phone calls went unreturned and the kid was always out if he dropped by. This, he opined, was the reason Sloan was such a bad recruiter-he was too honest! Black athletes have definitely contributed in a major way to the corruption of SEC Football and Basketball, and the recruiting process is much more corrupt now than it was in the all-white pre '72 era. Why? Ever notice that when a black person follows a team, it's usually a pro team-check out their cars-many more Steelers, Raiders and Cowboys paraphenalia than Ole Miss, Arkansas, Michigan, Notre Dame or Ohio State. Black kids no more grow up dreaming of playing for college teams than baseball prospects grow up dreaming of being a Memphis Redbird or Albuquerque Isotope! (I may have mispelled Albuquerque-I'm sure Colonel reb will let me know if I did-please forgive me!). Blacks consider college football and basketball merely the minor leagues-something to be endured like a spell of sickness because it's necessary in order to get to the real payoff in the pros. White players in the pre '72 era , by contrast, dreamed of playing and starring for their state's flagship college team-especially in SEC country. Remeber, this was the era in which NFL players had to work second jobs in the off-season to make ends meet. That's just one of the reasons I agree with Colonel reb that college sports aren't worth investing much time, energy or money in anymore. I follow the Mannings-that's all!

The fact that a few white players got illegal inducements during the “bad old days” of racially segregated SEC football doesn’t change the undeniable fact that the practice was and is much more prevalent in the post segregation era because black players demand it, and pandering white coaches who think the must have black ‘ath-a-letes” to be succesful are willing to oblige them. If you think Bobby Ray Franklin’s ’57 Ford was something, compare it to the car J.R. Ambrose got which helped get Ole Miss put on probation. I personally spoke with a former Ole Miss assistant coach named Don Young while he he coaching later in his career at Northwest Miss. Jr. College in Senatobia under then head coach Bobby Ray Franklin(Is that enough verifying detail for you?) He advised me that he had been on Steve Sloan’s staff at Ole Miss, and had been involved in recruiting as an assistant coach at numerous other Division 1 schools throughout what had up to that point been a 25 plus year coaching career when I spoke to him in the late 80′s. He told me that during his entire recruiting career he had only had one white recruit ask him about illegal inducements to sign, and he thinks he might have been joking. On the other hand, he said every top black prospect he encountered asked about them, either directly or through a relative(ala Cam Newton) or family friend and if he told them as he did under Sloan at Ole Miss that none were available, he was no longer welcome at the recruit’s home- phone calls went unreturned and the kid was always out if he dropped by. This, he opined, was the reason Sloan was such a bad recruiter-he was too honest! Black athletes have definitely contributed in a major way to the corruption of SEC Football and Basketball, and the recruiting process is much more corrupt now than it was in the all-white pre ’72 era. Why? Ever notice that when a black person follows a team, it’s usually a pro team-check out their cars-many more Steelers, Raiders and Cowboys paraphenalia than Ole Miss, Arkansas, Michigan, Notre Dame or Ohio State. Black kids no more grow up dreaming of playing for college teams than baseball prospects grow up dreaming of being a Memphis Redbird or Albuquerque Isotope! (I may have mispelled Albuquerque-I’m sure Colonel reb will let me know if I did-please forgive me!). Blacks consider college football and basketball merely the minor leagues-something to be endured like a spell of sickness because it’s necessary in order to get to the real payoff in the pros. White players in the pre ’72 era , by contrast, dreamed of playing and starring for their state’s flagship college team-especially in SEC country. Remeber, this was the era in which NFL players had to work second jobs in the off-season to make ends meet. That’s just one of the reasons I agree with Colonel reb that college sports aren’t worth investing much time, energy or money in anymore. I follow the Mannings-that’s all!

Blowtorch Mason-now you are trying to put words in my mouth. I think it would have been great if Vaught had quit rather than recruit blacks, but there is no evidence to support that. Again, if you have some evidence other than hearsay, I'd like to see it. It would have been heroic if he had publicly declared (after the fact) that was his reason for leaving, and if he had stayed out for good after retiring. He did neither, and because of that he isn't a hero to me. People can declare otherwise if they want, but it is wishful thinking at best. He was a great coach and he deserves a lot of credit for that, but he's no hero to the White race.

Colonel reb- My bad-you're right, Vaught wasn't the coach in '71-don't get so self-righteous and huffy about it. I was confused because Vaught did coach Norris Weese-in 1973, when he was brought out of retirement by the then Ole Miss chancellor to clean up Billy 'I'll gladly recruit black players" Kinard's mess when he started running out of Vaught players like Leon Felts and Riley Myers-his only good year was 71 when he still had some left over. After Vaught won all but one game in '73 after taking over for Kinard, Ole Miss didn't get invited to a bowl even though they had a winning record, but Vaught was honored by being chosen to coach in the Hula Bowl. In this position he chose Norris Weese as his starting quarterback, who shone, and this caused Weese's stock to rise dramatically in the NFL draft. You may buy into the official UMAA version of Vaught's retirement-James Edwards and I, along with others, don't-let's just leave it at that . You apparently think it would have been scurrilous for Vaught to quit rather than recruit black players-James and I think it was heroic. To each his own.

Blowtorch Mason, it would be nice if you could at least get your history right, but it appears that is too much to ask. I have the annual that includes the all White 1971 football team and Johnny Vaught is nowhere to be seen. He didn't coach Weese in '71 because he wasn't coaching at all. Billy Kinard was the head coach from 71-mid-73.

I don't know what you mean by debunked because the fact of the matter is that Alabama was an integrated team in '71 and Bryant's decision to integrate after the 1970 season made it easy for other Deep South coaches to follow suit, which they did.

You still don't have a leg to stand on regarding Vaught's presiding over the integration of all OM sports while he was AD. He supported black athletes being recruited just by being in that position. To argue otherwise would be like claiming that Obama doesn't believe in war while he is presiding over two of them. Vaught's earlier statements are contradicted by his actions while AD.

As for a "planned" and "mandated" integration of SEC football, I'd really like to see the evidence of that. Your claims are overwhelmingly speculation, while my one attempt at speculation has more evidence to support it (Vaught's actions as AD) than the claims you made in your last post.

I agree with you that the "Big 3" in Mississippi have been purposefully ignoring their White in-state talent for years. It is a shame, but I don't expect it to change. The idiots who run things in Oxpatch will hire someone similar to Nutt and White players will still be in the minority. Why do I say that? Because I've spent a decade observing what we call the Caste System and the cultural Marxist libtards who run the Newniversity of Mississippi won't do anything that bucks the anti-white agenda associated with it.

One other thing about the "good old days" of all White SEC football, as much as we like to think otherwise, they weren't perfect. There was still corruption and there were still players being given "gifts" so they would play for certain teams, including Vaught's Rebels. Just ask Bobby Ray Franklin about his 1957 Ford. Things were a lot better back then, but they weren't perfect.

The NFL Scouting Combine, invitation only, might be the gatekeeper here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_Scouting_Combine

If a multi-position college star like Wes Welker can't get invited after a heroic career at a fairly competitive school like Texas Tech, then the deck appears stacked & the cards marked.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wes_Welker

Intent aside, whites are clearly being filtered from the pipeline for NFL speed positions. The acid test is their performance once given a chance. Welker, Payton Hillis, Woodhead, Jordy Nelson, Mike Furrey, Gronkowski, Toby Gerhart & others show the talent is there, same as previous decades when opportunities were also there.

Since white players trade at a discount, teams that sign them will get more value for their money, & be more successful. The Packers & Pat's are two of the NFL's whitest teams, & also it's most successful.

Colonel Reb, I also stand by what I said regarding Johnny Vaught's motivation in stepping down as Rebel coach. Also Bear Bryant's legendary attempts to integrate Alabama's team, especially the so-called 'Sam-Bam Cunningham" locker room episode, has been debunked by several Tide players of that era. Vaught's chest pains were brought on by the Reb's loss to Southern Mississippi in Archie's senior year-he knew he had a potential national championship team, and this disastrous loss scotched any hopes they had of achieving that goal. When Archie broke his arm falling on the newly-installed astroturf at Hemingway stadium against Houston later that year, he joined Vaught in Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Vaught was fully recovered from his minor cardiac episode and he lived a long and healthy life well into his 90's . Some say Vaught retired because he knew he'd never have another quarterback like Archie, but if that was his motivation, why did he hang around another year after Archie graduated to coach the Norris Weese led Rebels in 71 to a Peach Bowl victory? What a coincidence that he retired the following year, when the league mandated racially integrated teams.Vaught was no fool-he knew what candor on racial issues would cost him, so he kept his mouth shut, but both he and Kentucky basketball coach Adolph Rupp quit coaching just as the league integrated, and it was no coincidence. Vaught did come to like Ben Williams, who became an NFL star, during his brief forced return to coaching in 1973-James Reed, not so much. Don't you imagine all SEC coaches knew about the planned racial integration of the league, and do you really imagine every coach was enthusiastic about it? Vaught's knew that black athletes wanted to be paid to play, and he wanted no part of recruiting players that would require coaches to cheat to get their services-and his prediction has proven all too correct with the passage of time. Your belief that Vaught would have happily recruited black players is just speculation-he never recruited one, which supports the quote he gave the Commercial Appeal's Gillespie in the mid 60's. He could be AD without doing that. I never heard of any of this "Sam-Bam Cunningham" type nonsense involving John Howard Vaught during his tenure as Athletic Director at Ole Miss, but Ole Miss Football has certainly gone downhill ever since the SEC integrated it's teams-more so than any other school in the conference. If Ole Miss hires a new coach with any sense, he'll start recruitng white players-they're the only untapped source of talent that is consistently overlooked by the other coaches in the SEC, so they're the only untapped reservoir of talent available. The pond of black "ath-a-letes" has definitely been overfished, and Ole Miss's current team shows. I personally prefer a team of players like those who played in the 'bad old days" of the segregated SEC, when most graduated to become solid citizens and genuine role models-doctors, lawyers and indian chiefs-as they used to say-not thugs with criminal records whose next best job option to playing sports was riding shotgun on the neighborhood garbage truck. You can have the "New Mess"-I'll take the good old days.

Blowtorch Mason, I stand by what I wrote because it isn't based on personal assumptions or some off the record comments which may be interpreted in several ways. It sounds nice to our side to say it was because he didn't want to be involved with blacks, but that isn't nearly as connected to reality as the fact that Vaught did have a heart attack in the middle of the 1970 season and that he then retired on advice from his doctor. Is it a coincidence that a lot of people who are diagnosed with illnesses live for a long time afterwards? Vaught did come back to help Ole Miss in '73, and he also helped a lot of blacks when he presided over the integration of all Ole Miss sports, which included a ton of recruiting, between '73 and '78.

For someone who supposedly didn't want to have blacks around prior to 1970, he sure didn't mind having them from '73 on. He actually became pretty good friends with Ben Williams, the first black Ole Miss footballer. Also, Vaught retired after the 1970 season, not '71. Deep South SEC teams did not begin serious attempts at integration until '71, after Bear Bryant was handed an excuse to recruit blacks when his Tide got beat by USC in 1970. Billy Kinard signed Ben Williams and James Reed to Ole Miss in '71 and Williams became the first to play for them in '72. As much as I liked Johnny Vaught as a coach, I do believe he would have recruited blacks had he stayed in coaching for even a couple more years. His actions as AD go a long way to confirming that belief.

Great points, Paul. 1994 was the last year I watched the NBA, including the (all-black) final between Houston and Orlando. I saw then that the upcoming "thug culture" was starting to make it into the NBA, so I checked out and haven't looked back.

The NBA has turned into the ghetto of professional sports and so the revenue is no longer there to support it or the lavish, unjustified salaries. So, the finances have to be reworked in order to save it. Even though the NFL is still the most popular sport, it too had to rework the finances in order to save it as it started becoming apparent that paying players the likes of Haynesworth $100 million dollars for little to show for it in productive output is not conducive for long-term financial survival. And if it weren't for the lure of Fantasy Football, betting, and selling "light/lite" beer, the NFL would be in the same situation as the NBA.

The NBA can either change or go the way of MySpace.
