(AWF blog, 9/23/11) AWF is upset, and the target of my wrath in this case is an unusual one — the Green Bay Packers. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m as cheese head supportive as the next AWF, but doggoneit this team was on the right track…the White track, one may say, and that’s good. AWF is not lobbying for the NFL to become as White friendly as the NHL (not that it’s a bad idea!!!)
But the talent level and the performance level and the behavior level of an all-black-all-the-time NFL is bad, and getting worse. The urban slums of America cannot fully staff 120 Division I schools and hundreds more lower level schools AND the NFL. The talent is not there. There are too many black players in too many slots with too little talent and for some reason even less desire. It’s obvious in dropped passes, porous all-black defenses, and overloaded injury lists. Green Bay and New England and Indianapolis and Houston, the teams with the most White players, and all of them successful except for an aberrant year for the Colts this season, are proving that.
However for some crazy reason the Pack is going black. Last year the Packers were the Whitest and best team in the NFL. And that’s great because White people are great and we love to see our young men excelling on the gridiron. Black people like their guys out there, and we should like our guys out there too. And players should be judged by their performance and when the White teams are winning then the results are in!!
This year the Packers dropped from a league high of 25 White players on their roster to about 15!! That’s a big drop, seemingly almost by design.
But AWF is not going to jump up and down just about a few backup spots on the roster. What AWF is going to jump up and down about is Jordy Nelson. Jordy Nelson is the best receiver on the Packers (and Greg Jennings is also a very fine receiver). He’s the fastest and has the best hands. He is big time. He should have been the Super Bowl MVP but they gave it to the guy who was throwing to him. Fine. He still was big time on a big time stage. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Don’t we always hear that the NFL rewards the playmakers? Ok, where’s Jordy’s reward? Why isn’t he starting and getting the PT?
There is an old and feeble vet ahead of him (Driver) and a poor performing black player behind him (Jones). If either of those guys were white you would be more likely to meet them at a tailgating party than watching them on TV. So come on Pack let’s see more Jordy Nelson.
Note to news media: the years longest TD passes are 99 yards to Wes Welker and 84 to Jordy Nelson. We feel that mandates a network wide moratorium on negative racial commentary concerning white athletic ability. No more “high motor” “lunch bucket” “blue-collar” or “not the best athlete on the field” comments after some White guy burns some black guy. Okay? Deal.
Eric Decker lit it up for Denver and maybe finally the Broncos will give him the start. Fortunately Eddie Royal is not only bad, but also injured. I think they would still like to start Royal over Decker but Royal’s hospital visiting hours won’t allow it. You can pick up Decker in most fantasy football leagues as White players are generally invisible to the average fan and the typical FF prognosticator.
Peyton Hillis continues to ramp up the yardage as the Cleveland Browns anemic offense begins to sputter to life. Look for some big numbers from him soon. Also keep an eye on teammate Evan Moore, he’s a good one and should get some more PT in the coming weeks considering the miserable receiving corps on the Browns currently.
Keeping fingers crossed that Toby Gerhart and Brian Leonard are next in line should injuries open up a spot to start. Both have been sharp in the few times they have been used.
Memo to lurkers — come on in and join the Caste Football discussion board, much more info on the good guys in there and it’s a lot more fun then the ghetto thug worship that goes on at other football forums. If you gotta watch football you might as well enjoy it!
